I love sweet get-aways that we are given.  I got to go to the beach this past weekend, it was so fun, I went with some friends that invited me for their spring break.  We went down to Wilmington one night, which might be one of my favorite places EVER!!  Downtown wilmington reminds me of an old southern town with so much history, I LOVE IT!!! And there is an ADORABLE restaurant that I must have a date at before I die, best date spot ever!!

But we had a great time, and they filled me in on the twitter thing... I still don't get half of it... the whole hashtag thing is confusing to me.  But they did there best to catch me up.

BUT wilmington being a great date spot is also a great place for pictures... here are some from the night.

Journey

"Whether to the right or the left you will hear a voice behind you saying this is my way, walk in it." Isaiah 30:21

Which way is the path going.  I think that so many times we think about the decision at hand or the direction we are going, that we miss the voice.  This verse isn't talking about whether you should choose the left or the right but that the voice is guiding you and is whispering to you.  Our life many times becomes about decisions.  But THE path is THE voice.  We just need to hear the voice and listen to that, not make a decision.  We make decisions because we want a desired destination to come.  But our life isn't about the destination.  Just live and LOVE the fact that there is a voice that is guiding you along the way.  Live in His whisper and the path naturally comes.  We are meant to walk, not to get somewhere.

I was reminded of this when my mom and I were driving down the road in good ole' Pmount and we were met by this....

 My mom was nervous during this shot because I was literally in the middle of the road on my stomach.... But we were in Pmount, who's driving down the road?

Self

So I was driving home one day and I had my favorite chair in my backseat.
And it was a PERFECT photo sun day.
AND it was the PERFECT time to take pictures.
AND there is a great barn outside my home.

BUT there was no one in my house to take pictures of????

It is a strange thing to be on the other side of the camera when you are used to taking pictures of others.... but I couldn't let all of those things go to waste.

There's a weird spot on my knee from when I was taking other shots in wet grass... fun fun.  Anybody know how to edit it out???

Tate Street

I was introduced a couple of months ago to the great place of Tate Street in Greensboro.  

There are some great things on that street, one is a jewelry store that takes way too much of my money but I LOVE it.  The second is the coolest coffee shop ever.  I am one of those people that likes the atmosphere as much as the coffee.  Well this place has the best of both.  It is one of the places that you walk  in and you think to yourself I wish I was cool enough to work here.  It is an eclectic type coffee shop, with random chairs and pictures all over the wall.  It also has the BEST coffee ever!!!!!!!

I went there this weekend with some great friends of mine and took pictures to show you.  The pictures can't show how great this place is, but I did my best!

SNOW?

No, snow isn't coming, but I am going to show you pictures of snow.  HA!
You can say it, Im always a late blogger, but I had these pictures from a few months ago when it snowed at Christmas.  How fun was that btw?
My mom's family lives down east, and we took family photos before the snow came but after the snow I got some fun shots around Mama C's house.
